Sunset Contract's 'Brad' is complex, greedy, a bit naïve, but also a solution-solving type of guy with a likeable aspect. The right ingredients for a true protagonist.

I wrote the story with Peter Nicholas in mind, knowing how he'd bring this complex character alive, since we'd been working together for some years.

As you may know, good storytelling typically requires a transformation of the main character and the actor has to be able to pull this off.

Before the shooting, I thought it'd be a challenge to direct an actor I know quite well, having worked closely with Peter on this project as my co-producer and co-dialogue writer.

However, when the shooting started, I had the feeling I was dealing with a 'completely independent actor' doing the stuff he's good at!
